All library patrons have to issue books at the Self Check System kiosk located inside the main hall (RHS of the entrance). Books requested (reserved) are also kept on the kiosk once these are returned to the library. Patrons are required to return the books at the library return counter.

  • LL.B. students:Two books at a time for a period of 3 days and reissued once if no reservation is pending. In case of fiction or literature the book is reissued twice.
  • LL.M. students: Four books are issued at a time for a period of three days and reissued once if no reservation is pending.
  • M. Phil & Research Associates: Five books are issued at a time for a period of seven days and reissued once if no reservation is pending.
  • Ph. D Scholars: Students who have confirmed registration, and have been allocated a guide will be permitted the facility of library membership and borrowing of 2 books (optional) for a period of seven days. Those who wish to avail of the facility should need to deposit refundable caution money of Rs. 7000.00.
  • Faculty: Ten (10) books are issued at a time for a period of 20 days. They are permitted to issue bound volumes of journals for class reference/ overnight issue. Additional books (3 text books per subject per semester) are issued on semester mode too.
  • Staff: Four books are issued at a time for a period of 7 days.

How to Use Self-Check System
